Puppet Making

Service Description

Appropriate for ages 12+ or children 6-11yrs if accompanied by an adult. Create a professional arm rod and mouth puppet of your very own. We guide you from start to finish as you cut, hot glue, and assemble your own customized puppet. No sewing is required in this workshop. Students bring their puppets to life by selecting and placing different face details. Each one is unique! Find your puppet’s voice and learn some puppetry basics. All materials included. No experience necessary! ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Rene Rubalcava is the owner of the LV Puppet Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. LV Puppet Studio’s mission is to inspire imagination, education, and community through the art of puppetry. We create entertaining and educational puppet shows and introduce the art of puppet making and performance to the public. I learned much about the art of puppetry and puppet making from Michael Earl Davis, a Jim Henson Muppeteer. I graduated from the University of Southern California and have been an elementary school teacher for over 25 years.

Cancellation Policy

We respectfully request a notice of four days before an event if you need to cancel. For a personalized event or project, we ask at least seven business days' notice before the event. Our Policy: Any cancellation or reschedule made less than the time requested (4 or 7 days) will result in a cancellation fee. The fee will equal 50% of the reserved services or projects and 100% for personalized events/services/projects. Summer camps: Make n' Craft will refund 100% of the total amount charged for cancellation fourteen days before the first day of camp. For cancellation seven days before the first day of camp, Make n' Craft will refund 50% of the total amount charged. No refund for all cancellations made less than seven days before the first day of camp.
